Agree terms with the owner or agent. They'll send you the Wediate holding account details and a reference number for your booking.

Transfer to Wediate, not the owner
Send your deposit (plus any prepaid rent and the IDR 600,000 Wediate fee) to the Wediate holding account. Funds are secured immediately.

Arrive, inspect, and release
Check in and inspect the property. If everything is as agreed, approve the release via your Wediate account. Keys and funds move at the same time.

What happens if the property doesn't match the listing?
Don't approve the release. Your funds remain held with Wediate while the dispute is resolved. Wediate does not release funds to the owner without your approval.
Can the owner access my deposit before I approve?
No. Funds held with Wediate cannot be released by any means (email, WhatsApp, or phone) without your explicit approval via the Wediate platform.
What currency do I pay in?
IDR. Any currency conversion costs arising from paying in another currency are your responsibility. Confirm with the host before transferring.
How much does Wediate cost?
A fixed IDR 600,000 fee per booking, paid by you when you transfer the deposit. No percentage fees, no additional charges.
What is NPWP or NIK? Can I use a passport?
Indonesian residents use their NPWP (tax ID) or NIK. Foreign nationals and short-term visitors can register with a passport number, subject to identity verification.
